Meet Our Founder
Renee Rose Ellis is the founder of Ellis Transit, LLC and the Ahéheeʼ Initiative (currently in development). As a Navajo, Two-Spirit entrepreneur, educator, and transportation advocate, Renee brings lived experience, cultural perspective, and a deep commitment to community-centered service. Her work is rooted in the belief that transportation is not just about getting from one place to another — it is about access, opportunity, dignity, and connection.

Never. Ellis Transit offers guaranteed rate pricing — your rate is based on distance, duration, and type of service, and is locked in at the time of booking. No surprise charges, no surge fees.

After-hours voicemails and messages are time-stamped and reviewed the next business day.
Drivers will wait up to 15 minutes beyond your scheduled pickup time. If you're running late, contact us as soon as possible — we'll do our best to accommodate based on driver availability. Additional wait time beyond 15 minutes may be charged at $2 per minute.
Ellis Transit may reschedule or cancel service due to severe weather, unsafe road conditions, or other safety concerns. In these cases, a full refund or reschedule option will be offered. Your safety is always the priority.
Ellis Transit does not provide car seats or booster seats. Passengers are responsible for bringing and installing any required child safety restraints. Our drivers may assist with installation upon request.
No. Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco, cannabis, or electronic smoking devices is strictly prohibited in all Ellis Transit vehicles. A cleaning fee of up to $650 may be charged for violations.
Yes. We offer approved invoicing for organizations and contracted partners, with monthly itemized billing available. We also have a non-profit arm in development specifically to support community-based organizations. Contact us to discuss a partnership.
